The Genesis Mission
A national effort to unleash a new age of AI-accelerated innovation.
We are in a race for global technology dominance. To accelerate scientific advancement, the White House creates the Genesis Mission—a historic national effort comparable in ambition to the Manhattan Project.
By combining the world's largest collection of Federal scientific datasets with high-performance computing, we will train foundation models to test hypotheses, automate workflows, and secure America's future.
The American Science and Security Platform
The Secretary of Energy is directed to establish a unified infrastructure platform providing:
- Supercomputing Resources: Access to DOE national laboratory supercomputers and secure cloud environments.
- AI Agents: Autonomous agents to explore design spaces and evaluate experimental outcomes.
- Secure Datasets: Proprietary, federally curated, and open scientific datasets alongside synthetic data generation.
